Yesterday, October 25th, 2017, a farewell ceremony was held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, for the crew members that have lost their lives as a result of the fatal crash of An-26 aircraft, ER-AVB, occurred on October 14th in Ivory Coast.
Today, October 26th, 2017, at 20:40, the coffins containing the bodies of the deceased crew members will arrive at Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. The repatriation, arranged by Valan International Cargo Charter, has been made through the company DHL Moldova. In the coming days, after completion of all required procedures and arrangements, the air company will hold a farewell ceremony followed by the burial of the deceased crew members.
The surviving crew members have already returned home.
On October 30th, 2017, at company’s expense, a group of 5 persons, representatives of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova, under the presidency of the representative of the Ministry of Economy and Roads Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova, will travel to Abidjan, in order to participate at the investigation of the accident with An-26 aircraft, ER-AVB, occurred on October 14th, 2017, in Ivory Coast.
